Trish, I hear ya, we want our pets to feel pampered, glad you found a good home away from home for your sweeties. Enjoy your vacation and do take pix, I looooove to see pix of gorgeous exotic places (and people, too, so if you see a cute cabana boy, snap away. LOL)!

Thanks for the good wishes, bf reminded me to get some heavy work gloves, too, glad he called, I'd likely have had blisters out the wazoo otherwise.

Just wanted to jump in for a second and say Hi everyone.
A nice day today here and tomorrow is only 30% chance of rain so I am cutting trees for lumber while I have some cool dry days.
It was really wet here last week and mowing was a real challenge.

The yard around the house, front and sides is mowed. I can't believe it, last week snow on the ground, today hay is down. I still have to do the back yard, but it wasn't as long as the front and sides. Mikey mower wouldn't start with the electric start, but the pull rope worked fine. I may have to buy him a new battery. I haven't tried Johnny tractor yet. He's to big to go into the fenced area. He'll have plenty of work this summer as Cody ground down some stumps for me in January. Gary (Cody's Dad) said he could hear JT crying in the shed. The first thing I did was dig up and move the tulip Cody planted with the backhoe when he put in the new sewer system. It was smack dab in the middle of the back yard. It probably won't bloom this year, but may be next year. I have warned Cody's wife about letting him plant tulips.

Actually, there is just a limited number of us folk around that are willing take on the running of things here. Gary and Cody and Gary's wife are also on the cemetery board. Gary was saying yesterday that when we are gone, there will be nobody left that cares about the park and the cemetery.
