afternoon tea for anybody
Howdy folks!! Busy weekend and nice weather ahead. Going to try and get the pool open by Sunday.
Is that your pool Al
Hi everyone, what absolutely fabulous weather we have been having - I'm loving it.
Spent most of the weekend outdoors, sunbathing, chilling and doing a spot of gardening here and there - most of the meals we have had were cooked outdoors.
Well - the good news is - at last I have got somewhere to take the dogs when we go away on the 28th of this month.
They have never been kennelled so that was last on my list.
We have booked them into a place called 'Pampered Pets' and we went over to inspect the place yesterday.
The lady that ran the place was very knowledgeable about GSD's, she knows what fussy eaters they can be.
They are not being kennelled - they are both staying together in her house - she has a room especially put aside for dogs that have never been in a kennel, and they have the run of two gardens, can dig and play away to their hearts content - plus they are taken out into the beautiful countryside surroundings on their leads at least twice a day. I was happy with what I saw - so have booked them in - now I need to win the lottery to pay for it all! (Peace of mind is priceless)
Al - loved your pebble river project - so unique. I look forward to seeing the finished job.
Sues, hope you can sort out your grass problem - sounds like a real nightmare for you.
Wyo - you sure are the celebrity gal! All those functions and meetings, no doubt your personality shines through, as it does here, in the lounge. I think celebratory drinks may be in order ..... who said "Oh, here we go - any excuse for a drink" ? lol!!!
Pos, Tony Mcc et al, a very good evening or afternoon to you - and please keep up the good work sending the choons.
I love to listen to them when I'm relisting.
Got a busy day tomorrow - another looking after Isla day - so I have to be up bright and early and bushy tailed.
Will pop in when I can.
In the meantime, be good (and boring) or be norty and wild ..... oh Yesss!
i was lucky when Shelly wanted looking after.(2 trays of Diet Coke and 2 bars of Dark Chocolate.)Shelly stayed in my house when we were going on holiday.Bridget who as 3 dogs of her own and 2 cats. Bridget took Shelly out 5 times a day.She loved the small greyhound.
So now Trish How Much As It Cost You?
Wow, Wyo, you really do have a varied and interesting life, too cool! I've always wanted to be more outgoing, but, unfortunately, I'm a dyed in the wool introvert, (skin problems for my entire adult life have admittedly made me a little hypersensitive to the comments and looks of others), so good thing I don't have to date anymore, (and no wonder interviews make me crazy, LOL).
Al, have fun with the pool, wish I had one as I love to swim but there's no free pool around here that isn't loaded with people, (I like to swim laps and they always get in my way), so I sit and wait and think of the river...
Speaking of crazy, the long lawn syndrome continues. Four more kids have asked to mow my lawn (that's just today, yikes!) Unfortunately, I don't have the $ to pay them, so I've got to find a quick cheap solution. My Mom suggested something last night that I'd never thought of: a scythe. So I went online and found one at Home Depot for very cheap, (going tonight to pick it up, plus I can return the weed killer I put out that doesn't work yet again, sigh; oh well, at least I can get my money back).
Can't wait to report that the weeds are gone (or at least hacked down enough so I don't get any more lawn offers, LOL)!
Cheers,
