I am 5 ft 8 inches although Leo claims he shrunk with old age and I must have too.
We got somewhere around 2 inches of snow last night. I woke up about 3 am and looked out the window and there it was - Christmas again! It is cloudy and chilly today. I must not have got on the computer yesterday at all. Hmmmmm! Went to the city and got a haircut and the rent and some groceries. Forgot a couple of things - not on the list, so i forgot em. Ah well.
It rained yesterday afternoon and a turkey vulture landed on a power pole near my front yard. I didn't know what it was, but I have since been educated. It flew from the pole to a nearby tree and I got a picture, but I don't think you can see much but a blob. He was still there this morning, but I haven't seen him since.

WYO!
Great to hear from you, gal!
Yup - spotted the ole vulture in the tree. What an amazing sight.
Wow - you sure get some awesome weather in your neck of the woods - 2" of snow in May?
Best I get you a warming drink - kick off those boots, and enjoy this dear pal .... I will share one with you!

Thanks Trish! My Dad claimed the latest he saw snow here was June 10th. I think I would have to say the end of May for me. 1961 or 62 we cancelled school on the last day because of a blizzard, that would mean the end of May is the latest I've seen snow here. My friend in Yellowstone said it was snowing there yesterday morning, I didn't think it would get here. It's all melted now, of course.
