Nice cool day here, the wind blew this morning and it wasn't very pleasant so we spent the day working on the computer, which we really needed to do anyway. We have a big pile of parts to add to the site. Next week is wedding week for Liz - a girlfriend is the bride and she is the MOH. I will go and visit with the animals while they are gone. The wedding is Sunday and they have planned a couple days of mountain biking and then a little trip. I always miss her when she isn't in town, even though if she were, I don't always go to visit her.

Crikey Wyo - I'm sure that these guys would have other things to do apart from mountain biking. on their honeymoon.
Oh well, I suppose a ride is a ride ... lol!

Winston says hi, he did his very first bark yesterday, a nice big bark. None since, but it's a start. Not sure what he was barking at, think he might just want me to know he can bark.

Happy Monday everybody!!! Long 4 day weekend and now back to work. The Tim McGraw concert went well even though I'm not a fan. It was live music and a great party so we had fun!

We aren't sure how much Christine's portrait raised but we spotted the winner of the portrait in line waiting to get to see Tim McGraw back stage. Turns out the winner of the portrait also won the right to meet him back stage. We looked over as the privileged few were getting ready to go back stage. One girl had a portrait and Christine said "no that's not mine". Just for grins I walked over and called out to the girl and asked if I could see the picture. She showed it to me and I asked where she got it. She said she won it at the radio station booth and some lady sketched it and donated it. I then asked if she would be so kind as to read the signature to me, she did...Christine Duray.
I told her "hey I know that lady would you mind taking a picture with her"? She agreed.



About 15 minutes before the concert started we saw her walk out from backstage without the portrait so we had to ask "where is the portrait"? She said Tim McGraw couldn't sign it just then but it was suggested by his people she leave the portrait backstage and hopefully he will sign it. This girl was worried she would never see the portrait again. Christine was worried that he wouldn't sign it. So we went back to our area and watched the concert.



During Tim McGraw's Oncore Christine said let's go to the radio station's booth and see what happened with the portrait. Portrait was back at the radio station's booth signed by Tim McGraw, back in it's frame and they were waiting for the winner to come back for it!

I'm not a Country music fan but stayed out of the sun relaxed from 4:00 to 11:30 outside and had a few beers.
