Default ~Suggesting to Open a New INDIAN WOMEN DRESSES category

hi all, i am new seller on eBid. i used to run business on eBay. But due to high seller fees i shifted all my business to ebid which is easy to use and low seller fees along with various payment options.

well i a manufacturer of Indian Traditional dresses. I was surprised that i haven't seen any category for Indian dress wear .
i would like to request to open a separate category for Indian women dresses as i will be listing lot of items in this category.

hope i will get a positive response.

    thanks,
    regards,
    raj.

Hi. Welcome! Lovely things. If what you are selling is fabric which a person needs to sew in order to get the dress, you might want to think about putting your items in a different category......FABRIC (In CRAFTS & SEWING) , not in women's clothing, since is IS fabric, not ready-made clothes.

    Good luck here!
    Ta-Ta for now!

thanks for your suggestion. but i prefer them to be in women clothing as all Indian customers will look in clothing section.

What you prefer is totally irrelevant. If they are placed in the wrong category they'll be removed.

It's not a good idea to spam the forums with the same post.I'd suggest a read of the answers already given to you then delete the inappropriate threads.

It's a bit of an oddity. as there are usually 3 pieces of fabric, just the right length to put together this outfit. Or when it comes to a sari, it is just a long piece of fabric. Where would you put that?

I agree with Meebo on this one...while it's true the listing(s) are for lengths of fabric, we must remember where they are coming from and how this type of material is used.

And by the way fabcreations, I just LOVE your materials offered...they are gorgeous! Best of luck to you!

    Hi and welcome to eBid.

If you have category suggestions for eBid support, you can make them in the New and Ghost Category area; plugging your auctions is done in the Plug Your Auctions section of the forum (1x per 24 hours). Just a brief heads up.

Good luck and best wishes for many sales to all,

I Would put a Sari (Long piece of fabric designed for a sari) in Women's Clothing, as it is a complete piece of finished clothing in itself. Add a blouse. Yes, i have worn one.

I would put the 3 pieces of shorter fabric that is being displayed with 1 photo of a finished dress (almost Western Style, with other fitted pieces), and 3-4 photos of the fabric with which YOU HAVE TO MAKE the dress.....after the initial photo......those.............I would put in fabric.
