Default Ina Steiners Poll on AuctionBytes is now Open - Vote for ebid!

    Hi Guys

Yes Ina's poll is now open. Here is the link.

    http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abu/...01/abu0303/s01

There are 16 auction sites on it and luckily ebid was selected as one of them.

It is easy to vote as you only have to vote for the sites you use.

Lets hope that ebid gets a good result as I think that sellers often take note of that poll when deciding where to move to.

Thanks,I answered a bit ago, gave my honest opinion about each of the sites I use and a brief write up of why I think each is the way it is

What bothers me though is the front page of her write up all about the other side and even how they are structuring moves before they bring in the BIG merchants, what exactly were these moves, were they fee hikes, buyer support the likes macys does not even have,

I would just like to hear them up and say we are trying to phase out the smaller/medium sellers with revunue less than 30k a year and make way for our huge retail type online mall and we will keep fees on the rise telling them it is for their benefit hoping they get the point

I just want someone with the brass pair to come out and tell us what they are doing and why, well the why is about $$$ shares are up over 2 billion last year all due to an influx of large retailers, chineese discount wholesalers (lead included with every order over 25$) all makes it good for now,how long will it hold out,how many large retailers, wholesalers will take advantage,my guess is a whole slew of em they are getting discounts and incentives on listings shipping everything that would help the lesser seller but as they say the rich get richer

I rated the sites I use. I have long felt Auctionbytes was one of E***y's best advertising venues. If someone at E***Y sneezes they report it.

@Laur - good to see you again !

Ina prints stuff from etsy as well.
But she has to be given some news or a press release, or something contoversial, or interesting.

Now what ever happens at ebid that is news or contrvovserial or interesting. (don't get me wrong I like ebid, but their marketing is not great) and there is not anything that ebidders hate about ebid to publish either.

OK the boys reported the 5 million listings a few months ago and Ina published that.
Etsy report their listings and SALES VERY month.

There is nothing to stop anyone from writing a letter to ina for the letters section.

    Great idea -

They went mad adding new categories last year for about a month.

(Perhaps they save them up ?)

I think it's a matter of waiting until Gazza has time to do a batch.
