Did you pay any attention to the advice that, as your items do not carry product ids, you will need an exemption from Google before your items will be listed?



But it isn't.

Agree with Mel. Google now requires certain product specific info., as barcodes, for items to show up in Google shopping. If you've contacted support you should hear back shortly, they're very prompt and efficient about answering member queries.

thanks guys. I didn't realise that as they don't have product ids, then they won't be listed on Google shopping. No sure what the exemption from google is, but will look into it and apply for it, I guess. Thanks for the advice.

AAAAHHHH, I didn't understand. I do now! all I need to do is put the bar codes in, and that is no problem at all. I'll just edit the listings. thanks again for your help.

Ok, so I have still not heard from eBay support and my items are still not on google shopping for ebid. they have a brand and they have a barcode. They are now showing from my eBay listings, could this be the problem now ( not the original problem) because I am sure I read somewhere you can't list in google shopping from multiple sources e.g your own site and ebid.

Have written to Ebid support AGAIN as I still have not heard anything and my listings from Ebid are still not showing on Google shopping. ANY suggestions welcome!!!

You have received no response? Not even the automated support 'ticket'? If not then check you are not blocking, or treating as spam, emails from the support address. See: http://www.mootango.webspace.virginm...idkb.htm#a0000

I thought I saw a post from Gazza the other day that said something about awaiting acceptance by the Oz Google Products site. Can't seem to find it now - so maybe I imagined it.

Getting a response from support is your best bet - so persevere. We, fellow users, can only guess what the problem may be; they can tell you for fact.

Please clarify on the above. If you have a BIN price and a starting bid price, will it show up?

I tried asking google for exemption and they directed me back to eBid. Many of my items are vintage or antigue and do not have a product ID or brand.

I did send a note to support@ebid.net as recommended for further guidance. Thanks.
