I'm glad you got it solved! Sorry to hear that the seller was questionable, though, and that you will not get what you wanted. It's good that support was able to check it out and save you from having problems!

Welcome to ebid.........and most sellers here, as on other sites, are reputable and friendly. My feedback is all from eBid, as is that of many others. Other sellers have great feedback from other sites which they have imported, which is fine, also. I suppose some people will always try to take advantage of other, even if it means having a few good feedback from anywhere to give the appearance of success.

It is doubly wise to pay with a credit card as well as paypal, if that is how you care to pay, as either paypal or your credit card company should be able to help if some purchase does not turn out as it should.

Good question, Your Majesty, as without a Paypal account the OP wouldn't be able to pay through Paypal. Fortunately, Paypal buyer accounts are free to set up and use, (at least for the time being).

You do NOT always need an account with Paypal to use them to buy things. My sellers account is fixed to allow non PayPal members to just enter their payment details without joining PayPal.

from the payment window there is an option for payment whom doesn't have a paypal account.there we had to enter the credit card and other details.in Paypal india such an option exists.so I tried to use that.
As per the earlier experts words,i had contacted the ebid support and they asked me not to pay for the item and informed me that they had suspended the account of the seller with immediate effect(seller name=springbokkidale [+11]).In fact he has acted well as he had added 11 rating points with 100% satisfaction through repatoo.com.A GREAT WAY TO MAKE BELIEF THAT HE IS A GOOD SELLER.
Anyway ebids and forum members timely response saved my money..thankyou very much dear friends.

So glad to hear everything worked out for you and that you didn't lose any monies in the process. HM is right about paying with a credit card via Paypal, that way you have 2 ways to get monies back in the event there is a problem.

Tony, I didn't know that about non-Paypal members being able to pay through Paypal, as I've never dealt with this issue; thanks for the heads up.
