One option would be to end the current listings and relist the books at the agreed on price as a bundle/single listing, letting the buyer know the new listing number so he/she can purchase.

Good idea.....or, if you do want to lower the price some, you could just give a discount on the shipping equal to what you would discount on the books...........save relisting......

I'd have asked them to go ahead and buy, then discounted the selling price, not shipping. You can do either.
