Thread: Die cuts with a difference!!

  1. #1

Default Die cuts with a difference!!

As cardmakers and scrapbookers know there are many many different types and designs of die cuts. Until now most have been of the silhouette variety, cutting machines limiting the size and thickness of cutting lines. We at hobbyhabitat have found a way of producing outline die cuts, the thickness of the lines are only 1mm thick, thus giving a very fine and delicate look. we cannot find any anywhere on the internet and think we may be the first. there are a few similar, but not as detailed or large as we have produced. untill now peel offs are usually the first choice for card makers for designs, then using pens, glitter etc to customise their cards, the problems were the size and availability of designs. we have listed our first in our shop in the scrapbooking section, it is a floral design aimed mainly at scrapbookers. over the next few weeks we hope to have a few more designs, we are only listing them on ebid, for at least a month, then possibly one or two other sites, so a first for ebid. we are sure the big design companies will catch on to what we have done and sooner or later a range much bigger than ours will be on the market, however, it is nice to know we are the first and ebid is the first place they can be purchased.
wishing everyone, especially crafters a very happy and successful 2012.

We have now added to the original design. new designs are "bride and groom", "arch", "cat attack" and "motorbike racer". new technology has enabled us to cut very fine outlines. we have many ideas for new designs and hope to have 10 or 12 more by the end of january, some will be floral. we are always open to suggestions for new ideas, if you have one, please post here on the forum or contact us through our shop.
