Nor am I included and I have sold 130 items since the beginning of Feb. Also most of the big volumes sellers that used to be listed haven't been seen on there for the last 2 months - eg the postcard and stamp sellers.

Thanks bykimbo. I did try this and had replies on 9 & 27 Jan, the latter asked for examples which I provided on 28 Jan, 2 Feb and 4 Feb. I didn't have any response to these so I haven’t pursued it further with support. They did advise they hadn’t made any changes but something has definitely changed for the worse. I am not bothered whether I appear or not but it is the impression it gives to new eBid members who are likely think those listed are the biggest sellers on the site. I think Deanosaur1972 at post 67 sums up the problem much better than I can.

Well the Hot Seller list has been a mess now for 2 months........

But finally I have confirmation that changes will be taking place in the near future, not sure why its taken 2 months to acknowledge that things may not be quite right but at least that is a start.

Looking at the list over the last few days - there has been the usual story of a complete lack of activity. Looking at the list now (at the time of writing) there is a seller who not only has an E-commerce Website in their shop banner but also a telephone number! Again we have had sellers with a grand total of £3.98 in sales who have made the list.......... Yesterdays list contained a seller with links to Ebay (which has been quite a common theme lately). There was a seller who appeared on there a lot over the last couple of weeks - and their 4 feedbacks as a seller was 3 negs and a neutral for no contact......

All this continues to make the site look shoddy - it does nothing to promote how busy Ebid is (and believe me it is!) its main purpose over the last few months has been to drive people away and provide direct promotion for Ebay and other people websites.

So whilst I am happy that changes are afoot.......... I believe this topic needs to highlight the continuing problem until its sorted out - actually I would prefer the 'hot seller list' to be deleted until it works properly.

Just had a look at the Hot Seller List and this might be a red herring to throw in, but....
I bought a couple of items yesterday from a new seller who joined in January 2012 and has no feedback - guess who is on the Hot Seller List.

Either the seller has sold loads of items and has not received feedback for anything, or by buying the two items I have tipped them into the Hot Seller List.... Also it could be because they are fairly new to the site and have made sales....who knows?

This "hot seller" has 25 identical items on their first page of listings with slight variaitons in the title

and zero of this spammed item in completed

Maybe he got on the Hot Sellers list by selling "Hot Items"!!

I also spotted this one, obviously starting on the fast track:

Terry - first one I checked on the US 'not seller list' had links to their own website to sell offsite, in the UK list there has been a glut of sellers appearing on the UK list with nice little links to EBAY in the last couple of days...
