Has the Hot Sellers Algorithm Changed?

Sorry, that is not so Dzambo. In the last few days I have sold around 40 items with the highest value item being £45. And I am not showing in the Hot Sellers!!

The thing must be broken...I am never on the hot sellers list

There might be a valid reason for that though

I am now convinced this is a glitch which does need fixing. If I was a newbee buyer on the site and found sellers advertised as “Hot Sellers” who were new with only a few items for sale I wouldn’t be impressed! It sets a bad image. I can’t imagine feebay allowing similary rated sellers to be Top Rated Sellers.

If you go to the main stores page it's about halfway down with little clickable pix.

If the change to the Hot Sellers list is intentional I think its bad news. Buyers clicking on a Hot Seller would expect to find someone who was a very active seller with lots of goods for sale. It used to be thus. Currently it seems to be a random list of sellers, some with plenty of goods but others with very few including some with zero auctions.
