Non paying Buyer leaves negative feedback

That is truly sad of them to leave that I think. I do not think I have ever left a negative and this is with 100's of buys. I once got a neg because someone claimed they didn't get the .17 cent item. I emailed them and said that was kind of rude and they agree and changed it to a positive. I guess I got lucky maybe.

Buyer should never be allowed to post feedback till paying/paid.

I absolutely agree. My current case in point. I sold something on Feb. 1, 2012. the buyer said she sent the MO. Today is March 12 and all I have been getting is excuses. I left her a negative for non-payment and she just left me a negative saying that I was a bad seller and I wouldn't help her find my address so she could pay.... She is also a seller.... Unbelievable!!!! 3500 positive and now a NEG from this ridiculous person....

Update: I emailed Support and they also found that it was retaliatory and removed my neg feedback. :-)

In the case of the OP, how on earth would the buyer "know" it was a fake before they recieved it?

Again agreed, if people have a problem, I would rather they communicate and sort things out.

Could the comment, which now looks to have been removed have been from competition?
Join ebid with a different name, and splat a neg on your closest rival?

Certainly glad I got them blocked before it went away. There seems to be a spate of unpleasant bidders on here lately.
