Thread: Non paying Buyer leaves negative feedback

    Question Non paying Buyer leaves negative feedback

    A non paying Buyer left a negative feedback. A "Buy Now" Listing was ended by the Buyer today, they did not make a payment and immediately left a very negative feedback. Item was never shipped so I don't know why they would leave a negative feedback. How can I get this feedback to be removed?.

    Contact support@ebid.net and explain the situation then ask them to have the neg removed.

    Why do you think this is the same seller as the one in the article? Different name and different description from the article, and it was written almost a year ago. Also, the OP has several positive feedbacks for the same product from eBid buyers (not imported).

    Do you believe no one can ever sell this product on eBid because there was a fraudulent seller?

    And I still don't understand the comment "past customer forgot old password"

    I don't get it either. Maybe there is more to the story, but the OP is crossed off and listings gone now.....I hope OP got to tell their side of the story too. But I think things go on behind the scenes we don't know, so I trust da boyz to do the right thing.....

    I hope OP got to tell their side of the story, too. I have a sinking feeling that the accusation alone got them booted.

    The item was purchased on December 7 and the feedback was left seven minutes later. It could not POSSIBLY have been delivered, yet support is giving credance to what has to be a false accusation.

    Auction lifetime: Sun 04 Dec 2011 17:23:23 (EST) > Run Until Sold > Wed 07 Dec 2011 19:45:58 (EST)

    Feedback left: Wed 07 Dec 2011 19:52:54 (EST)

    The buyer who made the obviously false accusation is still active, apparently support is not bothered by the fact he/she could do this to other sellers here.

    Only other scenario I could imagine, which support should be able to know/verify, is if a buyer bought this or similar item prior to repatoo import, and didn't leave feedback until now.The time expired in which to leave feedback, and in order to leave neg feedback, a buyer 'bought' another item only with the intent to leave feedback. Which, in itself would smell of fraud to me if anyone did it.........

    What concerns me is that if this happens to one seller, it can happen to any of us. A new member can join eBid, buy something, not pay for it, leave negative feedback claiming it's a fake half an hour later, and SUPPORT BELIEVES THE ACCUSATION.

    There's another thread about new members who buy and pay for an item, and then get banned. The transaction is concluded to the satisfaction of both parties, but the buyer still has a line through the user name. Some of the posts said that the buyer isn't always notified and doesn't know about it unless they come back and try to buy something else.

    Something strange is going on. I want to see what happens. I made a note of the seller and buyer names in case support decides to delete this thread.
