Calling Crafters in Cornwall !

Hey everyone,

I don't know how many ebidders / forum participants there are here who hail from Cornwall, but I thought I'd post this anyway.

Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust is holding a 'Family Fun Day' at Caerhays Castle in St. Austell, next year on Sunday May 13th. We are looking for local craftspeople to book stall space at the event - and there will also be local food, a plant stall, children's entertainment, some live music, a bar and hopefully some activities such as a dog show, classic cars and even archery!

One of my favourite charities, and I'm just round the corner. Sadly, I don't really craft, but I'll give some thought about maybe getting together with others of limited crafting ability to maybe make a stalls-worth between us!

Be happy to. Every month except December a group of us run charity auctions from the 24th to 28th. There is a nominated charity (you this time!) but people are also free to raise money for their own favourites - the nomination's just a suggestion, but does usually get good support. That's the first simple intro - take a look at the Charity and Fund-Raising forum here for lots more information. Then feel free to ask if you have any questions.

And yes, Meebo, as I've just said in the other thread I'll be happy to help if I'm needed.
