I was thinking that it could be a useful promotional tool to add a webring box to my all-about me. It is a good way to get links out there and seen. If I change my all-about-me to HTML editing, I can do this.

However, would ebid allow this?

They might have an issue with it since you don't know precisely where the links will end up, and they could be ecommerce sites. Best way is to ask support though.
