YDC 94 PIMP Thread - get plugging your stuff!

Well, here we are again....yaaaaay!!

Today sees the start of the YDC 94 charity auctions.....
& I'll start the proceedings with a quick reminder of what we're all about.

24th – 28th November 2011

YDC charity auctions are held by the international eBid membership every month.
Our main aim is to raise as much money as we can, and have lots of fun along the way!
At the same time, we have a “friendly” competition to see which single auction raises the highest amount. The winning seller in this competition chooses which good cause to nominate for the following month’s competition.

As the winner of YDC93, craig has chosen:

Bonnie Babies

as this month’s nominated charity.

If you would like to take part in the “competition” element of YDC94,
Please adhere to the following guidelines:

1) All auctions should have a start price of 99p (UK) or less.
For other currencies, please find an easy conversion chart here: http://www.xe.com/

2) No item listed should have an expected value of more than £20.00 (or local equivalent)

3) Your auction should not have a reserve price or Buy Now, and it should be a standard auction (ie: not “featured”, or have any extra enhancements)

4) Your auction should run for exactly 4 days.

5) Please list your item/s to start at any time on the 24th of November (in your country), and finish at the same time on the 28th. (Different time zones will be taken into account when establishing the “winner”).

6) Please put YDC 94 in the auction title.

7) Your auction/s must be hosted on eBid.net, and must NOT break eBid’s listing rules.

8) Your auction/s MUST be for a charity (or good cause) and you will need to add the following to your description:

This auction is an entry in the YDC93 charity auction competition. All money raised by this auction, will go to: Add the name of the charity/good cause here

9) You should not mislead bidders/ buyers. Please be truthful.

10) Please keep all shipping / postage charges at cost price.

11) PLEASE LIST YOUR AUCTIONS IN THE CHARITY AUCTION SECTION UNDER “YDC”

You may list AS MANY items as you wish.

You do not have to support the nominated charity, it can be any good cause of your choosing.

Please try to offer your auction/s to as many international destinations as you can.

Sigh, why does this happen just as YDC starts. First I had trouble getting into eBid and now my whole computer has crashed. My son knows what the problem might be but has had to go off to work so I will have to wait until he gets home. I can check in on my notebook but hate typing on this thing so I will hopefully be up and running this evening. I expect to see lots of lovely bids on my YDC items when I get back !
