Thanks for the tip re: typing in the store name, never thought of this.

If you have trouble finding your store...especially if some of your stores have similar names, put the name of your store inside quotes ".........." It will then bring up that exact store name.
At the top left of the Google Shopping page it will state the number of items linked to that store name.

I find it strange eBid has so much trouble with this.

Another well known alt. site, with a similar number of listings, informs its sellers, via their personal account section, every time they upload their listings, the number uploaded, the number accepted by Google and the number failed. The also list the items that failed and the reason for the failure.

Exemptions, if required, were claimed by the sellers themselves who then notified the alt. site. That way the the sellers know what is going on at any time.

Seems eBid is making things harder than they need to.

To be fair Tony, google rules are in English. eBid comes from a country with a different language. They seem to lose something in the translation.

If the "hit" numbers are lower than that of the store you have searched..it could be one of two things. One...items are being resubmitted to GS; Two if the count continues to lessen, items are expiring and not being resubmitted to GS.

I've just done some searches on google products and initially all seemed well. ie I searched for vintage pyrex and I showed up ist and second page.

However when I searched for vintage pyrex tally ho (it's a pyrex pattern of which I have none in stock)

The search came back with 25 hits all from my store none of them tally ho.
What surprized me and made me suspicious is that there were no other results and that google are showing me what I want to see and not the real picture.


Could someone run the same two searches from their IP and see what comes up?

As you say, you come up on first pages of both Search and Shopping but not for Tally Ho. Very Odd. I ran the search via IE and Chrome, was that what you wanted?
