    Thanks for this thread.
I thought I'd done something wrong when some of my listings had sections of the description missing.
The lack of resposen from Admin is a very poor show and makes the whole site operation look very unprofessional.

Let us know an auction ID and we can take a look.
    Thx,

Thanks - unfortunately I did the changes over a 2 or 3 month period - no real easy way out of this one for me except possibly ending all my listings, and finding the appropriate files from about 2 years ago, and re-uploading them all.
Problem then is that I used the bulk edit for some listings wording etc during that 2 year period, so my Ninja files would be wrongly worded.

Admin can do a bulk overwrite for you which would fill in any missing descriptions.

The down side is you would lose any edits made to existing listings after the 1st of October but everything else (edits before that date and new listings) would be okay. If you have made any edits after the 25th and can remember which ones they are you can ask for those to be ignored on the overwrite but I would strongly suggest you make your own backup of those, just in case.

My EBid has been extremely quiet for a few months now, I thought I would have got a at least afew orders in December for the Christmas period but absolutly nothing, not even a question.

Anyhow I decided to log into my EBid today to edit some listings only to find that all my current listings have been all chopped down and corrupted, no wonder no one has bought anything, the listings look so mickey mouse. This makes me look stupid but after reading the forum and discover that this has happened to many others then I think EBid will be the ones looking stupid and losing revenue.

My main concern now is do I have to re do all the listings again?

Has anyone else found a better solution?

    Thanks

    Jonathan

IMHO you should contact support: support@ebid.net with the relevant auction IDs, they may be able to sort this for you.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Your table needs to be fixed at your auctions end... end of your auctions.

Since he's telling us that his listings have all been ruined by the infamous eBid "fix" that stripped great chunks of code off when supposedly repairing some special characters, I don't think slapping a table close tag on the end of everything is the best solution.

    True.

And I think this is another good reason to have seller's sign in on a regular basis. If seller had signed in before one month passed, they would have known their listings had a problem and could have corrected it during their busy selling period.
