I just wanted some new ones because it is our Walking Club Christmas Dinner and one of the after dinner 'games' around the table is always started by one of the members with his 'we were so poor...' and I was rapidly running out of responses. You've been a great help. I might manage to go on for longer now LOL.

Well, ours was the boiled leather sole of a discarded boot - and that had to do all fifty six of us.
