Thanks Meebo!
I may be back to some of my buyers for their addresses as they were not the high bidder.
And, in breaking news, I've just ordered another lipstick from Cokezone which will be my first offering for YDC 94!

I don't know if this is the right place to ask these questions but thanks to Tool Queen I want to quit lingering and join the YDC.
If this is not the right place, please direct me to where I should go.
I think that I have read that the item would be posted under charity auctions and YDC. I also think that I read that the winner of the last YDC picks the charity.
The item cannot be expected to fetch more than a certain price right and has to start at a certain price?
Kimbo, what is RNLI?
So, once the item sells, then you pay the person in charge of the charity-in this case Kimbo? But what is this page about? Once we pay the hostess(for lack of a different word) we come on here and tell who bought what?
How often are the YDC auctions I see this is 93 and some are talking about 94. Is it monthly? Are the auctions open to everyone or just to the YDC members?
Sheesh, that's a lot of questions but I'd like to try.

Great, I'm sure that will explain lots. For my part to answer the direct question: RNLI is the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. It's the emergency service that saves lives at sea, and being a little island we've got a lot of that going on! The land-based emergency services are Government agencies, but the RNLI is a charity run and staffed in the main by volunteers. For example on each boat on the full-time Coxswain and the engineer who maintains the boat are paid, all the rest of the crew are volunteers. The fund-raising is done by volunteers. Shops like ours are run by volunteers (me, in this case) and staffed by volunteers (lots of super people). The service costs millions every year to run and it's all provided by lovely people like eBidders bidding generously. www.rnli.org.uk
