Been at a Puces des Couturieres all day (a boot sale for needlewomen) - a bit quiet ... maybe because of the rugby? I understand that the French team played the game well... but the result wasn't quite what was hoped for here...

Saw some other exhibitors that haven't I seen for a while and I think I can now call friends, had lots of of practice in using French and made some useful new contacts - so all in all a good day!

Got out of cooking lunch by ordering a curry, managed to do a bit of sewing, though not got quite as far as expected. But maybe tomorrow I will be able to finish and then list it in the YDC

Haha! Yes, I actually DID enjoy it Papa - they're lovely lassies. Although they are still pretty demanding, they're not babies anymore, so are a helluva lot less hassle. Each had their own laptop with them but they wanted to use MY PC. Result was, I was hardly on it last night - well, until they'd gone to their kip anyway. LOL!!!!

My son is visiting from New Mexico. We played bridge at a local tournament on Friday and Saturday, hung out with the rest of the family and played board games the rest of the time until this afternoon. I have done absolutely nothing productive for thee days. Feels wonderful.
