Increasing Days For YDC Auctions

I think pimping has more effect on final price than duration. I'm not sure where you see the increase coming from in a longer auction?

I didn't say the longer duration would help, I just said it might make me feel better. I'm sometimes too much of an idealist for my own good. If I make something for a charity auction, I want the charity to get lots of money. Probably a lot of the situation revolves around being in the USA and not having very many USA members not to mention even fewer checking in on the YDC. What is, is and I'll be back when I've licked my wounds a bit.

I think you have captured the essence of why many eBidders, including regulars, choose not to participate in YDC. It is a legitimate position.

I took part in my first ydc in April 2009 and have participated during most months since then - until recently. The length of the ydc auctions has had nothing to do with that.
