I missed this last time as I was mostly pre-occupied elsewhere. I'd definitely bid on one of those, but won't lie about not having a massive budget!

Me too.....I don't see a problem with someone winning one as a Christmas present...if enough people wanted to do that then you might win the next YDC for the most raised ever for a scarf

No, I have no problem with why people bid, but I didn't want to find that everyone has all the shawls they want and it goes for 99p or they are bidding out of the kindness of their hearts. I try to vary my offerings.

Must be a senior moment in the past...............I don't remember seeing what I am imagining you mean..........do you have a pic? I've always looked for one (or a pattern) of what my grandma had knit for us girls.........two-tone bedd shawl........interesting reversable pattern. Sound familiar?
