Default Use The Forum As Cross Marketing Google Input

That title makes no sense! Ok - yesterday I thought that this forum needed a little life and posted a thread in Antiques about things you like, but not for sale.

Today - search Aguimac in Google - it is on the second page already because I added tags to the thread.

I suggest others do the same in their category of interest, because it encourages people to talk on this forum and if tags are used in each post, will direct others interested in that subject to eBid.

There are plenty of specialist forums on the Web, if there was, for instance, a thread in these forums about 'Watches You Love, But Not For Sale', there would be plenty of people talking about high quality or vintage watches which would direct watch collectors to eBid. Ok - that doesn't mean they will join and sell, but at least it will promote awareness of eBid.

Don't forget to use the tags at the bottom of the post and make your posts interesting and informative.

Interesting. Not sure what tags are or how you use them though.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

When you post, there is a 'Tags For This Thread' section. Tags are key words from your post that will enter into search engine databases. Tags are what you would put into Google to find what you are looking for.

So you put relevant words into the tags section? Makes sense to me. Thanks for explaining this.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
