OMG The watch categories are already a nightmare & mess, with hundreds of unused sub-categories so why do you want more.

Other bigger sites manage perfectly well with about half a dozen watch categories where eBid uses hundreds.

It's all about SEO to be honest Tony. If the brand is included in the breadcrumb link at the top of the page it goes further towards getting the listing higher in Google and thus creating more exposure for your listing.

It's actually nice to see an auction site providing more depth as this has generally been a problem on bigger sites like eBay.

For those that cannot be bothered to optimize their listings this much they can always use the "Other" subcat in each main category...
