Hospital television

I'm assuming most hospitals provide a tv service similar to the one in Northampton.You buy a scratch card with a code on.You then type that code into the set via a touch screen.The ones in our hospital also provide internet access although it wasn't working today.
I'm not sure if it's possible but changing the home page to ebid.net would be a free ad for the site.

If I remember rightly what it costs to use hospital TV, the patients will not have any money left to buy anything on eBid.

And, of course, you are not allowed any of your own mains entertainment equipment as it has to be tested and certified - how convenient.

The card I bought today was £3 for 24 hours (elapsed time).How many people watch tv for 24 hours solid?I'm sure more people would rather pay £1 for 8 hours.

When I was in Hospital early this year, a nurse asked me if I wanted one of those cards. Both my Eyes were bandaged over!!!

Finally got the internet to work on it,unfortunately I couldn't reset the home page to eBid.
The system is slightly out of date too,using ie6!
