Gazza, more clarification re Brands & Google Shopping please.

Well I went through all my clothes in my clothes store, and had to put a brand in everyone of them, which was a nigtmare. But i got there in the end.

Over on ebay they said if there was no brand name on the clothing that we must put 'unbranded' in the box, so i've done the same thing here. I just hope that's good enough, otherwise i just wasted 4 days putting brand names in.
As for my other 3 stores i don't even know where to start.

I would have 'assumed ' that Google would have given their business partners clear instruction on such matters but this doesn't seem to be the case. I was in no way casting aspersions as you seem to be implying.
I'm just happy that the matter has now been sorted out and I can get on with my business.

I wasn't implying anything - but can't help what you choose to read into my statement.

I doubt even Google know how they are going to handle the many oddities that will be thrown up. They have come up with a system that works perfectly in the world according to Google. Sadly, they will find that the real world will refuse to fit their utopian model.

Well I've had my exemption accepted on my own website and this is the reply I got from Google...............................

For eBid store application’s, according to the instructions for applying for exemption, we had to give eBid’s email address. I assume that the reply from Google will go back to eBid. Hopefully they will forward this on to us so we know if our application has been successful or not.

Support have started work on sorting them out today. I've just heard my first three have been accepted. If you give them your shop numbers they will be able to check for you but it might be an idea to give them a couple of days grace to get everything straight first otherwise they will be inundated if everybody asks at the same time !

I just had a looksee at some of my items on GS.

Searching for the item by its description I'd get pages of listings, mostly feebay, and none of my items showed up at all.

If I searched the same item plus my store name it shows up.

Pretty goofy.

Yes ISBN is for books, it stands for International Standard Book Number. Try the bar code for your collectible the ebid system will throw up a message box if the number isn't acceptable.
