Thread: Many items not showing in Google Shopping

  1. #1

Default Many items not showing in Google Shopping

    To Whom It May Concern:

Many of my items that are either Auction & Buy It Now or strictly Buy It Now are not showing in Google Shopping, any suggestions?
My eBid url is as follows; http://us.ebid.net/items/CheapStudent; and my only store that is active is http://pawn-your-goods.ebid.net. Also I noticed when I started listing items on eBid that they were listed within a few hours on Google Shopping now it seems to take a few days.

Thank you for any suggestions, have a blessed day, and many sales!

    Sincerely,

    John - CheapStudent

You show as having 31 items listed. 25 of those are in your store - the remaining 6 are outside the store.

23 of your store items show on GP (at the time I checked): http://www.google.com/search?q=2000-...w=1680&bih=861

5 items are on GP not in store: http://www.google.com/search?q=2000-...w=1680&bih=861

That makes (removes socks) 31 - 23 - 5 = 3 (many?) items missing from GP. That could be for one of many reasons. The main point is that eBid is feeding your items to Google. You will need to look at the missing ones to see why they are either not being sent or are being rejected by Google (who can do so on a whim).

If you can provide auction ids for one that is missing on Google then I and others may be able to offer more targeted help.

As it says a Forum Saint, this is truly correct; thank you very much for your help! I didn't even think of putting ebid Pawn Your Goods in Google Shopping/Products.

    Thanks,

    John

There are many changes going on at Google Shopping currently and we are changing with them behind the scenes. We are always interested to hear if items are not showing up.

    i) The main tips we can give are barcodes/isbns and brands for as many items as possible.
ii) Do not put promotional messages/offers/free shipping etc in titles or the beginning of your descriptions.
iii) Do not use uppercase letters in bulk

One thing Google seems very fussy about lately is ISBNs on books and Barcodes on media items (CDs, DVDs, etc,). If you have those items listed then ensure you complete the Barcode field of the listing - otherwise Google can reject them.
