ebid was mentioned on You and Yours, (I think,) radio 4 yesterday in an interview with an ebay executive trying to justify the FVF hike. A disgruntled seller was arguing against ebay's greedy tactics and mentioned ebid. Unfortunately he did say it doesn't have the capacity of ebay, still national exposure can't be bad. I only caught a bit of the interview, I'll see if I can find a podcast (whatever that is)
Any one else hear it?

Yes I listened to the item on ebay last night thanks.
It was sickening to listen to the ebay exec try to squirm out of their fee increases.
He kept trying to justify them by saying that thousands of new sellers had set up on ebay in the last few years, and he kept bringing up big ebay sellers.

The guy from the British Small Business group came cross very measured and professional - he did not let go.

As for the big ebay watch seller - he is working on very low margins so he is screwed.
But still, what business can run on such low margins.

wow! I sure missed that! Ebid may not quite have the capacity that ebay has (yet) but I'm very optimistic and hopeful that one day it will! I hope the fees don't grow in capacity too though! ;-)
