In a case where your watch did not cost that much to begin with, it might be cheaper just to go ahead and purchase a new one. The watch band is an easier part to replace. Watch shops or jewelers might be able to give you a new watch band, or fix the current band for you. Self-repair is not recommended, especially for expensive watches. If you open up your watch and try to take it apart, you might not know how to put it back together. The best thing to do is take your watch to a professional who is trained to deal with all of the complex details of watch repair.
