    Default Reasons for Watch Fix

Fixing a broken watch can be a complicated issue. There is certainly no specificthat will apply to all varieties of watches. While this is true, the problem of a broken watch is generally the same. If your watch is broken, it won't display the correct time. Here are some things that you can do to get your watch fixed.
First of all, if you watch has simply stopped figure out the reason why. It might just have a dead battery; another reason why your watch may have stopped is due to water exposure. For this, you might need to have a professional replace the non-working parts. If your watch face is cracked, it might be possible to replace it with another piece of glass or plastic. For some watches replacing a single part of the watch might prove to be extremely difficult. In a case where your watch did not cost that much to begin with, it might be cheaper just to go ahead and purchase a new one. The watch band is an easier part to replace. Watch shops or jewelers might be able to give you a new watch band, or fix the current band for you. Self-repair is not recommended, especially for expensive watches. If you open up your watch and try to take it apart, you might not know how to put it back together. The best thing to do is take your watch to a professional who is trained to deal with all of the complex details of watch repair.

Actually, a broken (analogue) watch shows the exact correct time twice a day - which is more than a working watch does.

Yes - welcome to you blech...

Nice to have you here & to read your post ....

When I was a child - (many years ago), I used to love pulling old watches (and clocks) to pieces to see how they worked.
And every time I put them back together again - I always had some bits left over! ... No wonder they refused to work again!
