    It was the film of the stage show of Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds.... I enjoyed it but sadly my dear lady never..... but then again, I never enjoyed her King And I with Yul Brynner...

    Aren't we all lol. I take it you mean the modern one, which was ok. Use to read Nancy Drew and The Hardy boys. their was another American one along the same lines, but can't remember it now. Think they were based in a scrap yard.

    Finally watched the girl with the dragon tattoo trilogy (ok) also long weekend (ok) Arlington road (ok) The International (ok) also the only fools and horses one off specials licence to drill, Christmas trees etc. (brilliant)

    Have been watching oldies. The Killing Fields, Platoon, Godfather I and II, The Big Chill. All movies that I had never seen before.

    How I managed to live to age 57 without seeing these movies, I'll never know.

    Also watched Brave.

    Last week i watched "I Frankenstein"...it was loaned to me by a friend...i didn't know what to expect...but it was enjoyable in a mindless kind of way.
