The golf center isn't part of the event this year, Flowers added, but the fireworks display will still be a signature part of Sparks in the Park. Folks have until 5 p.m. on June 24 to place a bid on ebid.net, an online fundraiser auction for the “Right to Light” the first barrage of fireworks with a remote electronic igniter. The best viewing place will be in front of Heritage Elementary and the administration building, Flowers said.
