Thanks - so that's what it should look like - nope I don't have that - only the heading. Currently awaiting a response from support!

Can anyone explain why this new feature is really so useful ?

You are not going to repost your items until they have run out.
And when they run out they appear in the Items Not Sold list
So I can't see why its that useful.

Also it is taking up space on the screen that should be used for watchers and bids.

Julie - if you repost the item BEFORE the time runs out (and you can do this even if it has say 2 reposts left - just change it to 10) then you retain the number of views it has had, thereby making it seem more popular (and desirable) than it really is! This is useful to me since most of my things are rather esoteric and therefore do not appeal to many people - I hope that the few people who have troubled to look at something might feel a greater urge to buy if they think other people are interested too. If you leave it until it runs out, you start from zero views again.

Maybe this is not something everybody feels but this my take on the psychology of the buyer.

It's fixed for me now!! Well, the heading is still in English but the numbers are there - which is good!

I haven't had a play with this feature yet but I imagine it will give sellers the chance to see when auctions are due to close and intervene if necessary. This will be useful if, for example, a batch of auctions is due to finish overnight and you don't want to wake to a pile of re-listings in the morning. It will mean that sellers can space out their auctions to suit them and maximise the chances of appearing in "new" or "closing" auctions lists.

Ok, so there are a few good uses for the new feature that I had not thought of.
I suppose its up to each seller to decide how they use it.

I just hope that if Gazza ever brings in Watchers and Bids that there is room on the screen.

I hadn't thought of these points lejoueurdepipeau ..... thanks
(and by the way, a belated 'thanks' eBid for this) ...

The main benefit to me is knowing when to 'top up' my listings so they don't expire, to retain the acrued 'number of views', 'fhlangan' made mention of this.

While on this, is there a simple way to 'top up' all of your listings in a single action?
Say all your items have worked their way through most of their 'reposts' (from 10 down to 1 or 2 left).

Is it possible to bring all the listings back up to auto '10 reposts' (before they expire)?
(without doing them 1 at a time?)

Only way I can think of is to export all your items, change the action to o(verwrite), change the repost to 10, and then upload back to eBid.

    Thanks Mel ...

That being the case, does an 'upload' back to eBid involve only the 'text' data, or are the associated image files uploaded yet again as well. (I'm thinking here of the 'size' of the transmitted data).

Or are your original image files (already stored at eBid) retained and somehow re-linked to your re-uploaded ads?
