Hi just joined and then found it is nigh on impossible to find a catergory for microwave spares eg roller rings fuses motors etc Catergories far to vague There is a market for this as i sell plenty on ebay. Am i misiing something are there hidden sub catergories regards Mick

Not sure about hidden sub-categories.

But there is a forum section for new category requests, that are sometimes approved.

You have a VERY niche product line, ebid is growing slowly

With such a specialised product, I think you will find that putting them in your own shop in appropriate categories will work as well as anything else. My suggestion would be... 1)open your ebid shop, upload a decent part of your range 2) create an informative about me page 3) work out what ebid categories you need and request them on here 4)tell your old customers where you are.

When you do 1 make sure all your listings have buy now prices so they get uploaded to Google shopping.

Catagory is nearly irrelevant. If somone is searching for a magnetron they will find it regardless of where you place it. Put applicable model in your title. eBid needs to reduce catagories rather than add for every little thing.
