Default new Seller+ .. hopefully leaving eBay

I've been on eBay since 1999, so I've seen it become slowly buyer biased. I've not done many auctions, mainly just buying and selling for personal items .. possibly less than 2500 times.

I've accepted most of ebay's policy changes and there have been times I've felt really hung out to dry. I'm happy to see eBid picking up momentum and hope it will continue.

I think the offer of Seller+ could easily bring more sellers and subsequent buyers to eBid once the word is spread. Its a really good deal and it shows that eBid values sellers just as much as buyers. In my opinion, you want to take care of your sellers and keep them happy just as you want buyers to always feel like they get a good deal. eBay has had the luxury of a constant onslaught of new buyers and sellers because it is viewed as the only auction site. Just give it time, the platform here is slick .. the more sellers that migrate over, the more bidders.

Hi, welcome to eBid and the Forum. It is a happy place here and very different to anywhere else. It is totally unique in its own right. BTW you need to remove your website address - they are not allowed on here.
I do wish you well here. If you need any help just ask. There is always someone around...

Welcome to eBid, you are a seller plus and you can add up to 5 gallery pictures free and pay only 2% FVF I would go ahead and add the pictures. Contact all your current and prior customers and let them know where you are now. plug your auctions in the plug your auction forms.

Hi Synthwood, welcome to eBid. I took the liberty of looking in on one of your auctions & checking out the video. Quite a creative work, although a bit out of my range of music & visual effect preferences. :-) Wish you the best in your sales on eBid.

Me too i have been on eBay for a while selling all my crafting goodies, having to give it up due to illness. I have listed some of my dads clothing mostly brand new and no takers - a bit miffed after paying the £48 to be a seller without all the ridiclous fees that eBay impose.

Does anyone manage to sell on here?

    Leisa

Ive sold quite a few things on here. I am still trying to selling on the dark side but with no luck. It is just very slow every where. Ive never quite seen it so slow.
just hang in there things will turn around eventually.

    Lots of people do.
Others take months to sell something.

My advice is to keep reading the forums and all the advice in them.
Ebid does not have no where near as many members or traffic as ebay, so sales are obviously be going to be less and harder, but more profitable.

If you a serious long term seller, then your lifetime investment was one of the best you have ever made.
Free listings and only 2% fvf if they sell using gallery (recommended)!!

yes people do sell.i have had 2 new buyers this last week, came over from the other side, i buy as well as sell and the one thing i can say is always but always make sure you have a signature in your postings that link back to your items,i am a lazy shopper and tend not to look at peoples listings if i cant just click and go,and use the plug your auctions section
    good luck
