Right now on a search "eBid" is asking all which view they like the best. Gallery has a commanding 73% of 457 votes. Now if they'll poll the members for something like a view why not get there input on a best offer "OPTION"? Seller's choice whether or not to use it on a listing.

I'm pretty sure that is what they are doing here.

Because they have no intention of putting Best Offer in place.

No this is only viewable to those who visit the forum. The poll on views can be found in a general search for an item like a snow globe.

The view thing was voted on here ages ago when showroom was first introduced they tried that as the general default, then members requested the default changed back to gallery, with showroom as default only on stores, & that is what happened. Store owners have the opportunity to set the default view on each store.
I'd imagine the that poll is only to see if there was any change from that.

The Poll on Make an Offer was added to the forum at Gazza's request, as he wanted to know how popular the idea was, if they were never going to add it, he wouldn't have bothered asking.

Can you please post the request from Gazza - I have been asking for this for over two years and got a negative response every time, it'shard to believe they have suddenly changed their mind.

That poll is for buyer's perspective

Are you suggesting asking if buyers want prices reduced?

Maybe ask them if they want everything shipped free too?

There is no thing as free shipping...I called the post office...lol...however "best offer" would be an option for you as a seller to use or not to use. The buyers could always email anyone with an offer if they wanted to. but when I see just a "fixed" price I assume thats the firm price. Then I buy or dont buy and move on There are times when cash flow is more important than profit and would gladly accept a lower offer then the price I am asking, but to lower every item we have listed to a loser, until we get the cashflow desired, and then go back and raise the prices is just ludicrous

Sorry no can do, it was on the thread started by
atomicant57, & he seems to have removed it.
Many of us saw Gazza's response, & that is why Jeweleffects started this poll.

I hope owners of this site finally is going to put ‘’make me offer’’ for a options with fixed price…so a hundred times I already say if any seller like to offer this options too just use it and if any seller don’t like to use this options just don’t use it….’’make a offer’’ options must be likes for shipping countries or likes payment choice is just similar because not all sellers accept every payment options and not all sellers offer shipping for every country…so in the end ‘’make a offer’’ options must be same…simple as that…AMEN…....
