Any new function means a decision to be made and updates to be done, but a simple bulk edit will set things one way or the other en masse, and allow fine-tuning afterwards. So if they do add it, they'd better update bulk edit too.

(but a simple bulk edit) If only, found it quicker to do it manually, but i do have trouble trying to fathom out the washing machine.

It's not begging it haggling. If you help clean out an old house and items costed you nothing, or you purchased them for a song at a fleamarket or something this would be great to have. Or it you purchase something you thought would sell but really hasn't and you want to liquidate it.

Only brave individuals will try to haggle with a seller without a site approved option. Most would think they are breaking a rule or being annoying and not do it.

Some will use it, and others will not to sell.

Maybe eBid should ask all there lifetime sellers if they'd be interested in have the "option". Many use it, and like the flexiblity it affords them.

For all those who sell and said no let me give you a scenrio. If I wanted to buy 6 old coins off of you, and total price would be $600, but I offered you a $450. Now you have had these coins for about a year with no nibbles at all and you didn't pay near what you are ask for them. Say you only paid about $300 are you going to out right refuse an offer of $450 out right or might you accept or counter. Reply with a counter with like $525. Who knows I might accept and you make a $225 profit.

You are a 100% right ''theweaverboy''....and by the way this is auction site is not retail store where person can see only fixed price and most of time buyer can't offer less money for item after he go on cashier......a less anything can happened if any seller offer this feature...and most of seller's in any auction site selling garage stuff...stuff from basement...vintage stuff and so on...all this is all far away from retail price and most of stuff is not new in package...ahhhh c'mon people get real if you offer ''make an offer'' options you can sell something much faster and if you don't like or don't offer this option just sell like you sell before with fixed price and without this feature....AMEN......

Best Offer works for me on eBay, but I sell expensive antique and vintage items where I can move the price. I find it strange that a few people buy at the top price even when they have the opportunity to make an offer, I suppose they feel it is beneath them to make an offer :-) I'm not complaining. I have just sold two antique banjos on eBay, one was up for £480 the other for £280, I was offered and accepted £450 and £250 respectively.

I find that people enjoy the 'game' of making an offer and if it was available here, I would take eBid seriously.
