used or new?

I have a load of autographs up for sale for the theatre group, and I never know whether to list them as new or used, because after all they have been written on (signed by the celebs)... but they havent been stuck in frames or had other owners.

I agree with TiasTreasures. Unused would be the correct choice.

We use "unused" as condition for seals and stamps that are not cancelled, or used as postage. The seals or stamps have not been used, and they certainly are not new - so they are "unused."
