Character Allowance

Please, guys, could we have a greater character allowance for listing titles?

I am really struggling to include sufficient detail and key words.

I second that whole heartedly ! Extra space please ! I can never squeeze everything in either.

Agreed...more character allowance would be great! However, this subject was brought up some time ago and we're still at 55 characters limit. I'm curious to know how many title characters other selling sites offer so we could make a comparison of sorts...just curious...

I asked for this ages ago - as I suspect had others previously - but it wasn't forthcoming.

Feebay also allow 55 which I guess eBid took as its benchmark.

I can't remember where I read the original info, so I don't know where to check.

I don't think it does as they come under attributes,
if you put in a barcode & a brand name as well as using up all
your title character allowance, you'd be well over the 70 character limit.

The longer the title the less impact it will have on someone browsing. The reverse of that is the more keywords you can include the more likely it is to be picked up by searches. I hate to go against the tide but I find 55 characters quite sufficient.

It would be useful to have more..............you don't HAVE to use the additional characters if you don't want to, so it would be win-win to have more!! thanks!
