I've had ONE direct sale I can prove! A lady came up to me at a "Puces des Couturières" and said she had read my blog and wanted to buy two Charm packs to make the quilt as shown there! I was soooo excited.... Other people have told me they read the blog regularly and I know that at least one of my readers has bought a product I recommended ( not from me though - I should be on commission!!) Otherwise the effects are quite difficult to quantify - I publicise events where I will be selling but can't really tell how many arrive at that event because of what they have seen - but there are a small and growing number of people who do turn up regularly and appear to be following me around...

I take it you've linked up to your buddy point/sign up page. If they increase suddenly it's one way of knowing that something is happening. Shouldn't you sign up with CJ to try to earn some money too.

At present I have no links TO eBid at all because I am still waiting (since the promises were made in April) for the means to auction items in French and English. I write the blog and my own website in French and English but there is little point in directing the majority of my blog readers ( who are French) to auctions when they won't even understand the title. As soon as the connection is viable I will link to eBid in the blog.

So the only connection between eBid and the blog at the moment is the other way round hopefully - forum members can (and do) read the blog and will realise that the materials required for the projects etc are available on eBid. I am not aware that this has brought me any sales so far.
