Well it's June and still not fixed. Gazza, do you think it might be fixed some time soon?

Unfortunately, many times. They wanted pics, so I gave them pics. They wanted mock auctions they could look at so I made mock auctions. They told me long ago that they were contacting the U.S. postal service to see what the problem is but I don't know if they did. So I don't really know what else to do other than keep posting and hope they will address the issue.

I have had similar problems with overseas packaging. Used to be right on target but now it comes up too little. Don't know if this is ebid's problem or USPS.

The ebid U.S. shipping calculator works as long as package does not enter into the USPS dimensional rates. Then ebid's calculator does not calculate properly. I have shown 2 examples at the beginning of this thread. I've shown USPS' website pics that state the size package I'm using is a large package.
Shipping per USPS website for a 4 lb 15 oz package which is 24 x 11 x11 [large package] from zip 33549 to zip 95125 is : parcel $12.34, priority $41.65
************************************************** *********************
If I use large package on ebid's U.S. shipping calculator:
http://us.ebid.net/for-sale/test-lis...r-28563555.htm
I get parcel $25.51, priority $41.65
************************************************** *******************
If I use regular package on ebid's U.S. shipping calculator:
http://us.ebid.net/for-sale/test-lis...r-28567812.htm
I get parcel $12.29, priority $18.35
The U.S. ebid calculator is not compensating for dimensional rates of package going over the 12 x 12 x 12 size.

We'll take another look into this, the problem when we last investigated was with incorrect USPS api data being fed to us. Hopefully we can fix it this time.

Gazza, I hope you can get it sorted. As you can see from the USPS website pic that I showed earlier in this thread, to accurately determine the size of a package that exceeds 12 x 12 x 12 and get the dimensional rate that is required by USPS for shipping determination such as large, extra large, etc. package the shipper MUST input the dimensions of the package. To my knowledge, ebid's U.S. shipping calculator does NOT have this capability. Thanks.
