    Question Shorter Bidding time

Is there a way to have an auction last for 1 day? When I tried to set it for 1 day and I was prompted to set it for at least 3 days. Is there anyway to change this? Does upgrading to a Seller+ count effect this at all?

Also, why am I unable to adjust shipping information after there is a bid placed?

I am curious why someone has bid on your test auction or have you got two accounts?

Not sure about the first question, but the last one I would have thought obvious.
It is open to abuse........eg tempt a bidder with a low shipping price, then increase it after they have bid,.

Two accounts, I was trying to figure out when someone bids if there was a way to close it and how fast would the buyer be notified they were the winner.

I would think so - If I bid on an item, I bid my top price which includes the shown shipping price.

I wouldnt be happy if I went back 3 days later, and found out I had won it, but the shipping price had increased.
Certainly wouldnt be paying, and the seller would be getting a neg.

Ok, Yeah. That makes total sense. Thanks, I'm new to this and trying to find out all the information as possible before hosting a live auction.

Unless you have special permission I would close one of the accounts as we cannot have more than one account without permission from eBid support.

Ok, then can you tell me how fast a buyer is notified after the auction is closed? Do they receive an e-mail or is it up to the buyer to be on top of the closing auction?
