Why are other auction sites advertised on ebid pages???

Just thought it was a little silly to see competitors/other auction sites advertised or linked here on ebid pages.

Well they pay to advertise, you will see the same thing on Overstock auctions. I saw an Ebay add there and thought I was crazy. I think they are adds by Google

Wonder how other sites would react if EBID adds appeared.

I'm sorry but these ads do not belong and need to be removed. Why would sellers want buyers able to click a link to visit a different site?
Let's keep our competition within our own walls.

.. not that I would tell the advertisers.. but I rarely even notice their ads -
if I do, I think ..ooh more money from them means less fees for me!!!
