Listings Disappearing!

I keep track of all my listings in Excel, including the title, listing number, date listed, etc.

Also I keep all my emails regarding online sales.

It would be nice if ebid sent out an email when they pull a listing so that one would know that thier listing is gone and why it is gone.

Glad to see that I am not the only one who keeps a spreadsheet of all my listings.
I told someone else I did that and they called me sick!

Yes ebdi could be a bit more forthcoming with their emails etc.

Mine are not disappearing because they are unacceptable. They are just vanishing.. after being relisted several not to say many times. I didn't notice until recently.

Keeping a spreadsheet would drive me insane - I have over 1000 listings and only one brain!

Luckily I only have 26 listings and half a brain.

When my listing disappeared I contacted support with the title and listing number and they told me that it was removed because of the word Onesie in the title describing a baby's sleeper pattern.

And did they explain why they thought it appropriate to remove it?

I imagine any seller would agree they'd expect notification. Indeed, on feeBay you don't just get notified when your listing is pulled (has happened several times to me, always for the most ludicrous reasons), you also get forced to go through a quiz that would insult an IQ-challenged 4-year old, or, lower still, even one of their CS reps.

thank you for your link...dose this mean that in my listing title i have to say something different about the birthday card?....the photo is always different and the description about the card is different aswell...is this not enough.... should i be putting Printed Birthday Card...then cat or dog or the main colour....is that the answer as i want to list about 200 printed birthday cards!!!!

What's most important is that the words in the title are different for each listing. Birthday card with cat. Birthday card for boy. Birthday card for woman. Birthday card with blue balloons. etc.
