Listings Disappearing!

I find myself hoping that one of the listings that I can now clearly track will vanish. Sadly, it isn't easy. I'll have to trawl through endless end of auction emails when it happens.

Using the information given to us so far we haven't been able to find any problems. As soon as we can get a specific auction ID that has disappeared we will be able to dig a lot deeper.

Mostly to vent because I'm furious at all the work this glitch has generated, I wish to tell the world, or ebid forum readers anyway, that my 100% stock check has revealed at least a further 10 vanished listings.


AND I have only done Justpurrfect.... madelaine's listings are yet to be checked.

Following a suggestion from an eminent ex-resident of Thailand, I have an auction id

closed on 18th Feb and it did not appear in my closed listings or I would have relisted it.

31497774 is down as being deleted from My eBid > Auctions I Ran .. You currently have 731 closed auctions that are in this state. Do you want me to unhide them so you can go thru things?

Can you be sure (and I'm only asking, don't shoot me!), can you be sure you didn't tick delete and miss the "repost" box? I expect you check the numbers match each time, yes?

I do check, Kim, but the total number of missing items is much too high for it to be finger trouble. And there are Tia's, Magnet's & Kedo's experiences too.

However, now I realise that it is happening, I will be yet more vigilant.

It is difficult to exaggerate how upsetting and infuriating I am finding this. I trusted eBid and my trust was misplaced. I really would go elsewhere if there were any viable alternative. So far it has cost me nearly 3 days work and I haven't anything like finished checking all my items.

Gazza, I click delete all & repost almost every time. It is exceptional for me to do anything else. I can't face 731 listings to check as most of them will have been reposted. I'll continue to check with live listings and physical stock. Too many have gone for it to be finger trouble... really they have. I found a further 6 items this evening which I know I listed. I can't give you the item numbers as I have little or no idea when they went. I will, however, be back unless it miraculously ceases to happen or I finally reach the end with online selling and just take the lot to a charity shop - You have no idea how close I am to doing that!

ended on 18th Feb. I've reposted it now. It's not the only further lost item I've identified but the only one I can locate using google to find the closed listing.
