You are determined and forgiving! If I had lost 50 item listings and not been taken seriously when I reported it, I would have left here forever!
I am not sure about the auction id - will let you know when my next one reposts.

Yesterday while listing I noticed my total number of ads. Today the number is lower even though it should be higher with what I added yesterday. At most about ten items missing. No clue what they might be.
autorepost keeps the auction id the same.

I am now engaged in a total stock check against listings for both my accounts. This is taking a very large amount of time. I would really appreciate a feeling that this is being investigated from the other end as well. I do appreciate that this is difficult (I used to be a programmer and "when are you going to find the bug?" is a hopeless question. If you knew where it was, you would have fixed it)., but it is VERY serious from a seller's point of view. I've never been keen on Run till sold but will have to adopt it for at least some listings to save work.

I feel Gazza did state they are viewing the issue seriously but need somewhere to start from. As an ex-programmer you can appreciate that finding the cause of a transient problem is one of the worst to go hunting for.
I have never had an item 'disappear' so could it be something to do with the number of items listed and so the number that could possibly close at the same time? Maybe something silly like the bounds of an array.
Are those reporting the problem all sellers with a lot of items listed? Or can any other commonality between you be found?
Using the information given to us so far we haven't been able to find any problems. As soon as we can get a specific auction ID that has disappeared we will be able to dig a lot deeper.

OK, astral! I know I was venting but this is DAYS of work lost and no easy way to check for lost items. And I received a similarly urgent sounding reply to a website suggestion about paypal ("added to to-do list") and that was months ago.
I have lost on both my ids. Justpurrfect has had between 200-300 listings for a while now. Madelaine has just over 1000 and has been selling nearly as much as I've been freshly listing.
Sorry to be picky, Gazza but "we haven't been able to find any problems" is badly phrased! I hope what you mean is "we haven't been able to find the problem"!
