I know some of you have reported such problems individually before, but I'd think it's worth putting in another support call and pointing them towards this thread to emphasise that's it's affecting multiple sellers, no?

Appreciate the concern, if items are disappearing then we need to get to the bottom of it asap. At this point in time we are unaware of any issue with our system so this will be a brand new technical issue to invesitage into. For this we will need some information to start the search, auction IDs, auction counts, auction titles, listing dates, end dates, start type, end type eg. on first bid etc.

The more info you can get to us the more we will to investigate although I do understand this could be hard to come by due to the nature of the possible problem.

I shall select a category from my listings and watch it closely. I can't cope with monitoring the whole lot

Unable to supply much of the info,.
In my case, all the items were start immediately.
    Items in store categories
2:2b (should be 196 in there - now 19 as I listed half a dozen new items yesterday, which was when I noticed the others were missing)
2:7p (should be 181 in there - not sure if relevant, but tried to move this category up the list to be near similar ones about 4 weeks ago - it was still populated then, however it wouldnt move up the list)
2:3m (should be 181. in there. I still have this one in my Ninja lister as it was only done within the past 6 months)

    All buy it now items.
Mixture of 7 and 10 day listings.

How does anyone record the auction id, please? taking endless screenshots of the auctions running page will take forever and use loads of ink.

Can't think of a good way to 'dump' ids. I would go for the notification of posting emails if I wanted to find the id of a listing I had created that was no longer available.

Thanks, Astral. I'll have to switch them all back on!

I've been doing it for months, which is how I knew the auction ID of the missing item in my previous thread. I don't use the automatic relist, I do it manually.

I have a Notepad file titled "Relisted Items". When I manually relist the closed items, eBid puts up a screen with the titles and the new ID numbers. I copy and paste that at the bottom of the Notepad file (with the posting date above them). I actually would only have to record the auction IDs, but they are displayed in a block so it's easier to just copy the whole thing. The time consuming part is when I add new items; I have to manually copy and paste the title and the auction ID in two steps at the bottom of the list. I want the title in case I make a mistake doing the manual copy of one item.

Before I relist, I go to the top of the Notepad file which has the items that have closed in the past 24 hours. I delete the ones that were sold, and check the rest against the ones on my Unsold screen. When I'm sure none are missing, I delete that group from the top of the file. No printing required, just have two windows open.

Tia, you have more determination than I!

Gazza, my items were all around 14 day immediate start, buy now items with 10 autorelists.

Date of start? heaven only knows! I list one off items and use the listings to run my stock control... well, I did....

I think the proper word is "desperate" not "determined". I first reported this last year and no action was taken, so I had to do SOMETHING. I know we're missing around 50 items, I have never had time to go back and look for them.

Does the automatic relist change the auction ID?
