Listings Disappearing!

I'm another that has had listings go missing, the latest couple I reported to ebid and the answer was that without the auction ID they cannot help. They also suggested that I go to My ebid - Auctions I'm Running - click the Export Listing top left.which would be fine if I knew what to do with the goobledegook that comes up, so I shall have to wait for my son who no doubt will do it in a flash but meanwhile I still do not know what happened to my listings.

Carole, if you search for the title of your missing listing under advanced search with the completed listings box checked you might find it and thus have an id to send to support.

Surely all auctions that have run the course of 10 relists and the auction closes, whether single or multiple items, should go into unsold items folder.

Thanks Mad, this is just what I have been doing and only a couple of minutes ago I found another listing in the
ended section so I have cut and pasted with the ID and sent this to ebid and asked how can I relist if i don't get any notification that an item is ended

I cannot find any of the items I relisted in the last day or so - about 90 items

Can you be sure (and I'm only asking, don't shoot me!), can you be sure you didn't tick delete and miss the "repost" box? I expect you check the numbers match each time, yes?

I'm sure you do check, but if you reply it will stop <ahem> anybody else thinking it. Nudge. Wink.

I reported this problem about 18 months ago in another thread when I discovered we were short about 50 items, but had no way of knowing which ones they were. That thread was ignored. Now I've got company, and support is at least occasionally responding.

My process is:
(1) Go to my Unsold Items page.
(2) Relist the items
(3) Copy the titles and auction IDs from the eBid display and save
(4) Go to Auctions I'm Running and check to see if they are all there. Today two were missing. Instead of reporting immediately, I waited. They showed up about three hours later. Not the same bug.
(5) Bring up the list I saved on the day they were originally posted (NOT today's new list). Delete one at a time from that list and from the Unsold Items page after verifying they were reposted.

A few weeks ago this process enabled me to identify an item missing from my Unsold Item page. I reported it on this thread, and have had no response. I was able to repost it from scratch because I now save all my original documentation (description, price, pictures, etc.) and, of course, because I now know about it.

It shouldn't be necessary to go thrugh this much work, but I don't seem to have any other option unless support fixes this problem. It can't be caused by any kind of mistake on my part, there's no way I can mess up this procedure.

It seems to me that the "magic" stuff masks the underlying problem reported by Tia's treasures and others.
