Listings Disappearing!

YDC listings have disappeared also. They are very time sensitive!

Can you give us more details, where are they missing from? How are you searching for them?

It was approximately 12 hours ago that I noticed that the number of YDC listings had decreased dramatically. I am in the US so was searching through www.us.ebid.net using "YDC*" [ Y D C asterisk] in the search box. An hour or two later, the number was back up to approximately 140, which is the number I find now, 8:10 am Wednesday. All five of my own YDC listings are back visible now.

OH! i think I've found a partial solution to my problem, if not other people's. In my YDC listings, I have a link to find ALL YDC listings currently up. Apparently somewhere along the way, I acquired the link that goes through uk.ebid.net. There are 175 YDC listings offered there, while us.ebid.net has only 140, probably because some UK sellers don't choose to sell to the US. I will leave it as going through uk.ebid.net so it shows a wider array of YDC listings but feel a little oblivious for not figuring this out last night.

yes this is happening to me also, i have listed seven wreaths for sale and only 4 show as listed when i cheke them! have done this twise and same thing!!!

I just sent ebid an email about my problem with dissapering listings, and they told me that relisted items don't show up and will be deleted....this is not what i wanted to know what i wanted to know was why my items dissapered so i sent them the following e-mail and waiting for reply?

not about me relisting them, i have been looking at your forum about this topic and nobody gets a streight answer from your support people.

question, what are ye doing to sort this problem out?
and why does it seem ye are avoiding answering this problem?

when i look at my invoice for Auction ID# 44000989 it says not found and it says this for all the ones that dissapeard.
which is just great because i am going to be charged for listings that have not run and just dissapeared
let me tell you then why ebay vs ebid........because ebay works thats why.

Some of your items have been removed due to them being duplicates. You should have received emails when this happened.

Irished, instead of dissing support, I suggest you read Gazza's reply,
& the listing rules, otherwise you will continue to get this problem.
You currently have 12 items with identical titles, (Under the listing rules 11 of them should be removed)
duplicates are not allowed on eBid,

Multiple listings, please use Multi-item Auctions

• It is not fair on other members to show row after row of the same identical item.
• This has an adverse effect on the entire community.
• If you want to list multiple identical items please list as a Multi-item Auction.
• We currently allow one auction, be it a normal or multi-item auction, to be placed in a single category. Do not place the same item in many different categories.

if your items are different, make it clear in the title, if they are the same then if you don't remove the duplicates the site will.

Madelaine & Tia I'm wondering if WHEN the items go missing also plays a part?

As we all know every now & then some of the big listers do stock takes, which involves either massive uploads, or massive closure of items, each time that happens the site goes on a go slow, I'm wondering if this is when some listings, get archived, without reaching the unsold item's page?

Also, there is the ability to list multiples of identical items all in one listing. When you're creating or editing a listing, it's the third line from the top. eBid will neatly and automatically decrease your number available as items sell.

That is an interesting thought, Gothicina, but I haven't actually caught it happening yet. It wasn't until the big postage edit that I even noticed.

This reported bug involves an auction not appearing in the My eBid > Auctions I Ran section after it closes and that has not been removed from this section by the seller. If this has happened to anyone please let us know the auction ID or title for us to investigate.

Right.. I've caught it happening again. Sadly this one was listed before I started recording every auction number. but the title was Barbara Warner Jumpsuit (approx). No, I know nothing shows in the advanced search but I wanted to tell you that there is still a problem!

P.S. I had been making the mistake of trusting that my listings were reasonably secure and that it was some disaster that caused the loss... Now, do I really have to check every single item? weep!)
